Our Signature item “Supremely Awesome Apple Crisp” is served with Premium Hard Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, Caramel and topped with a Cherri. We continue to be told our Apple Crisp is some of the Best in New England! We have never changed the recipe since day one and only use fresh apples from the local orchards. In New York we get our Apples from Hardeman Orchards located in Red hook. In Connecticut we get our apples from Scotts Farms in Glastonbury. We also only purchase Premium Ice Cream from Sinon Farms, Poughkeepsie and the Big Dipper in Prospect Ct. We peel and decor every apple and make our Awesome Apple Crisp on site in our trailer baking every pan for 40 minutes before serving. We service New York and Connecticut traveling to an average of 12 fairs and a few smaller events. If you are looking for a fresh desert, stop by and see us! Our Story
My name is Todd Lavigne, owner Awesome Apple Crisp LLC. Back in 2008 I was working at the Southington Apple Harvest Festival in Connecticut. I own a Staffing Agency, Temps Now!, Once a year I would go work with a crew of Temporary workers for the weekend keepingthe grounds clean for the festival. All the vendors would ask us to take their trash to the Dumpster. This one trailer always had heavy bagsand long lines that never seemed to stop, and they kept feeding us Apple Crisp. Over the next couple years, the owners of the Apple CrispTrailer and I became friends and when his wife retired from teaching in the school system in 2012 the owner asks me if I was interested inpurchasing the business. The original trailer I purchased was very small, but people loved our product and would line up for hours. Eachyear I would bring my children with me who were in high school and I would teach them the skills of running a business and it was also greatfamily time. In 2017 I designed and had built our current trailer and branded it Awesome Apple Crisp. My children went off to college, so Iam very fortunate to continue to find great workers with lots of energy and enthusiasm who loved to work in our trailer.
